Bullying is definitely turning into a nightmare in schools both inside and outside of Nigeria. It isaconcerning practice in schools because it infringes on a child's rights to human dignity, privacy,freedom, and security. Serious control measures must be implemented because it also has detrimentaleffects on people's bodies, minds, and education, which should never be taken lightly. Thus, thegoalof this research is to learn more about counselling techniques for managing bullying behaviourandthe psychological effects on victims. Therefore, for the benefit of the bullied and the environment atlarge, this study has offered peer support and systemic counselling strategies to counteract thetrendof this bullying trait. that if fully executed, it will encourage a zero-tolerance policy for bullyingwithin and outside of the nation's school communities. The study offered several recommendationsfor reducing bullying, including requiring parents and students to sign an agreement at the start oftheschool year stating that they understand it is improper to make fun of, taunt, or try toharmotherstudents. This will teach them to be respectful and to behave in a non-violent manner bothinsideandoutside of the classroom.
